We had an excellent Vermont senior portrait photography session at Shelburne Farms with Noelle. It was nice to capture her at the farms as she attended Kindergarten at the Renaissance school over 12 years ago. It was all about coming full circle, at this quintessential Vermont location; precisely the perfect place for her Vermont senior photography session.
Shelburne Farms is perhaps my favorite place to shoot Vermont senior photography. From the historic farm barn to the carriage house, the Shelburne Inn and the beach, each location on the property is unique and picturesque. You have the rolling hills to the edge of Lake Champlain. With the correct planning, you can capture multiple locations in a short period. I encourage all my Vermont seniors to bring multiple outfits to a shoot. I like to use natural light and natural settings for each Vermont senior photography session so the outfits should work with the starkly different locations. That is the essence of outdoor Vermont photography. The weather and light changes all the time. Noelle did a fantastic job adapting to these changes and perfectly matching her outfit, attitude, and grace to each location. She is a stunningly beautiful girl who perfectly reflects her Vermont upbringing. I love Vermont senior photography.
A big thank you to the kind folks at Shelburne Farms for allowing us to photograph at the property. They are always so nice to us when we arrive (always after normal hours)! A special thanks to Roslynn who gives me permission and Gary the kind gentleman (and golf enthusiast) at the guard gate. I would encourage you to become a member at Shelburne Farms if you want to have your session there!
