Ludlow Wedding Photographer
One of the things that amazes me constantly as a premier wedding photographer is how the little moments shared between lovers speak to the great love they share. Like many of Vermont’s hidden gems, Ludlow reminds me of this. Throughout the town there are these small wonders that speak to how special the place and its people truly are! As a skier, I love Ludlow for its close proximity to Okemo Mountain Resort and its many other natural attractions, such as Lake Rescue. Some of my favorite areas to hike near Ludlow include Buttermilk Falls, Camp Plymouth State Park, and Healdville Trail. If you are more adventurous there is also amazing zip-lining at Jackson Gore Ski Area and lots of fun to be had at Evolution Bike Park. After all of that activity it is always nice to unwind at Calm Moments Massage Studio. For the history buffs out there, Ludlow is also home to Black River Academy which our 30th president, Calvin Coolidge, attended in his youth. Black River Academy Museum is also a cool place to kill a few hours on a rainy day. Ludlow also offers the Fletcher Farm School for the Arts and Crafts, which acts as a meeting place and educational facility for many of Vermont’s young artists. There are also a number of homemade food shops, such as Green Mountain Sugar House and the Wine and Cheese Depot. Besides these locally owned shops, there are also a number of delicious restaurants in the area, such as Sam’s Steakhouse, Mojo Cafe (delicious Mexican food), Mr. Darcy’s Bar & Grill, The Downtown Grocery, Java Baba (fabulous lunch), Cafe at Delight (yummy breakfast), and Big Eyes Bakery (for the sweetest treats in town). Ludlow, like many of Vermont’s peaceful towns, offers a host of charming inns. Some of my favorites include: Inn at Water’s Edge, Echo Lake Inn, and Jackson Gore Inn. If you find yourself in the Ludlow area, please, review my online portfolio and reach out! I so look forward to capturing the small moments between you and your partner that say it all!
