Marlboro Vermont Wedding Photographers

Although I’ve traveled and worked all over the globe, there is something about Vermont (my home State) that keeps me coming back. Here, there is this deep grounding in our shared history paired with a fervor for innovation, creation, and community that inspires me constantly. Marlboro is an excellent example of this Vermont way of life. Although it is a sparsely populated area,

Marlboro offers the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum and Marlboro College (a very small, alternative liberal arts institution); both organizations are dense with creativity. Once a year Marlboro College puts on their Marlboro Music Festival, thus filling the town with visitors and harmonious sounds.

Favorite Marlboro Vermont Locations

Marlboro has a many cozy, eccentric, and lavish hotels and inns, some of my favorites include The Whetstone Inn, Colonel Williams Inn, Riverside Hotel, Wilderness Lodge near South Pond, Adams Hill House, and The Nutmeg Inn and Restaurant. Marlboro is also very close to the quirky hub of Brattleboro, VT where there are fun, local shops (Turn It Up, Boomerang, Twice Upon a Time, and more), phenomenal yoga studios, beautiful old churches, and delicious restaurants. Some of my favorite restaurants in the Marlboro area are the Chelsea Royal Diner (which has been featured on the Food Network), Wilmingham Roadhouse, Duo, Cask & Kiln Kitchen, The Vermont Country Deli, and Dot’s Restaurant.

One of my absolute favorite coffee shops, Mocha Joes, is also tucked away in near-by Brattleboro. For more local eats, I recommend checking out Spoonwood Cabin Creamery, Vermont Distillers, the Brattleboro Farmer’s Market, Whetstone Cider Works, and Whetstone Ledges Farm. Apart from the basic human comforts, Marlboro also is home to Molly Stark State Park (great for nature lovers) and Rice Library. I love to engage with communities such as Marlboro that integrate the old and the new of Vermont. If you find yourself in the Marlboro area seeking wedding or portrait photography services please reach out! Nothing makes me happier than connecting with couples, sharing what I know of Vermont, and capturing their special days (so that they can be enjoyed worry-free)!
