North Bennington Wedding Photographer

North Bennington is amongst the most infamous places in Vermont, a near perfect blend of history and modern culture, the old and the new. As a premier Vermont Wedding Photographer, it brings me so much joy to be offering my services in the North Bennington area. Tucked as it is in the valley of Paran Creek and through its proximity to the Walloomsac River, North Bennington historically experienced an immense amount of economic development and prosperity. North Bennington has always been a place of creation. It claims Cushman Furniture, an American standard, as one of its earliest and long-living businesses. It has also been home to numerous famous authors, such as Shirley Jackson, Jamaica Kincaid, and Robert Frost, many of whom have been inspired by the town itself.Among the relics of the town’s history stands the Park McCollough Historic House, a well-maintained, 35-room, Victorian house that was built in 1865 and, today, is open for tours. Besides that, The North Bennington Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. North Bennington also offers a wide array of modern artistic creation through Bennington College’s Usdan Gallery, The Bennington Museum, and The Vermont Arts Exchange. One thing that urban visitors often note is the incredible fare available in Bennington; some of my favorite restaurants include: Panagea (a New Yorker’s dream) and Powers Market (which is 173 years old, dating back to when the mills were functional). One thing I often recommend to couples in the area is to take a carriage ride through Lively’s Livery, the horses are beautiful and the town doesn’t disappoint either. North Bennington also offers a few really great places to stay or host events at, such as The Henry House Inn, The Eddington House Inn, and Teraden Bed & Breakfast. The aesthetic of North Bennington so beautifully lends itself to celebrations of love, in which the new and the old are so often recognized and rejoiced in. If you find yourself in the North Bennington area, please feel free to flip through my online portfolio and reach out. I would love to help make your special moments a part of the timeless traditions of this special place.
