The Shelburne Museum is a photographers playground. So, when I had the opportunity to photograph Maggie and John's intimate Vermont wedding, I was so excited. I have shot many engagement sessions at both Shelburne Museum and Shelburne Farms, but this my first wedding at this location. The couple decided to do a first look on the wedding day, and therefore, we had ample time to explore the property for their portrait session. We spent an hour getting some fantastic shots, and we all had a blast checking out the museum in this unique way. The ceremony took place in the courtyard, and the couple was framed beautifully by a tunnel for their first kiss. Check it out. After the reception, we snuck away for an incredible sunset, and the couple dog came by to get in the mix. This was an important photograph for them, and I am glad we nailed it. If you are considering a Vermont wedding, Shelburne Museum has so much character, and the staff is phenomenal.
