Fairlee Vermont Wedding Photographer
As a Vermont wedding photographer, I appreciate the Fairlee area all year long for its classic Vermont charm and engaging community. Nestled between the Connecticut River and the foothills of the Green Mountains, every season in Fairlee is defined in that distinct Vermont way. Fairlee claims two large bodies of water, Lake Morey and Lake Fairlee. With this in mind, it is no wonder that the area comes alive in the summertime with swimming, boating, fishing, and much more to keep families, couples, and retirees busy. Even in the winter there is an abundance of outdoor adventure to be had; Lake Morey even claims the longest ice skating trail in the United States. Located right on the water, The Lake Morey Resort is an awesome place to stay or host events. Right in this area, other fun activities include the Lake Morey Resort Golf Club, Chapman’s Country Store, and the Fairlee Drive-Inn. Whenever I am in the area, I always make sure to stop by Middlebrook for a fantastic meal (a contemporary American dining establishment) or Fairlee Diner (for some good old fashioned diner grub). If my girls are with me, we have to stop at Whippi Dip (a fun roadside food/ice cream stand). Fairlee is also home to The Fairlee Railroad Depot, which having been built in 1848, is the oldest surviving railroad structure along the Connecticut River (it was even named on the National Register of Historic Places). As a photographer, I am always entranced by the vestiges of our past that survive history. If you are seeking wedding, event, or portrait photography services in the Fairlee area please peruse my online portfolio and reach out!
